Hello everyone this is my first post on my blog.This is a charcoal that I finished the other day.It was done on 14in-11in vellum paper made by Strathmore and a medium and dark charcoal pencil.I also used a paper stomp in two sizes a thick one for broad blending and a very thin one for details.The subject matter is a Downy Woodpecker that I sketched and photographed in Devon Park in Windsor, she was very curious making her a great subject.
